So Scooter's out and facing some serious shit. I still have a couple problems with what's going on.
1) Rove is not behind bars. I guess I'll have to take comfort with the fact that an investigation against him is still pending. There are rumors he might have flipped against Cheney to save his hide. We'll see.
2) Libby was allowed to resign. His resignation should not have been accepted. In a [Name elided: Gus, I want you to have a political career. Change it back if you don't care--ed.] White House, anyone who leaks classified information that endangers our national security would be fired, not allowed the dignity of a quiet resignation. Watch last weeks West Wing for an example of how a real leader handles this kind of situation.
The show is just getting started. Pay attention.
