The Times doesn't like von Spakovsky either, but there's no passion in its editorial. It reads like an obligatory end-of-year, oh-look-they're-being-dicks-again-as-usual, we-should-care-more plaint.
Did anyone catch this bizarre story? A soldier comes home to Queens on leave, gets drunk and decides to celebrate by firing an illegally purchased pistol in the air. One of the shots hits and kills a Muslim woman at a fifth floor window. Sounds like a terrible accident to me; more conspiratorial minded say otherwise. Greaaaaaat.
