Also, Elizabeth Arden (who is Elizabeth Arden, anyway?) has a fragrance named Provocative Woman. At first, I found this name intensely annoying: after watching a few commercials, however, I have come to a new appreciation of its postmodern commentary on fragrance names. I look forward to its extension into home products that I myself might use, such as Efficient Individual Aftershave, Good Hire Bodywash, and I Will Kill You So Back Off Pal Cologne.*
