Roger Douglas Groot

Professor Groot, the previous director of my clinic, my boss on the ABA moratorium project, and an honest man, passed away this weekend. The field of capital defense will miss him sorely, as will the students and alumni of this law school. A more complete profile is here.

Update: According to the dean, it seems that Professor Groot went out hunting and never returned. The rumor is that he suffered a heart attack. I personally choose to believe that he wrestled a bear to the death. Hence this tribute
