George Bush Can Flip-Flop in Two Languages

The President was for singing the National Anthem in Spanish before he was against it.

4/29/06:

"The national anthem ought to be sung in English. And I think people who want to be citizens of this country ought to learn it in English."

1/18/01:

George Bush's inaugural gala featured Latin singer Jon Secada performing a rendition of the national anthem in both English and Spanish.

8/30/00:
From the Miami Herald: "The nominee, his wife Laura, erstwhile rival John McCain and his wife Cindy joined Bush on a platform where children were singing the national anthem -- 'in Spanglish' Secada explained.

I guess 9/11 changed everything.

(Author's Note: I have a picture of Jon Secada singing the anthem at the inaugural but blogger is acting strange lately.)
