By the way

Has anyone else noticed that one of the Clinton campaign's most public acts recently has been to torpedo the political career of an impressively credentialed woman? Where's the sisterhood?

I don't believe that Senator Clinton should be held to a higher standard, or indeed much of any standard, regarding who she calls upon to be fired from Senator Obama's camp over a gaffe. But I do think it risible to believe that Senator Clinton, or indeed any politician in this race, would prize any principle as nebulous as supporting one's gender, or one's employees, above political advantage at this moment.
