Call me a jingoistic sucker, but
I actually find Bela Karolyi's America-boosterism quite charming.
“Exactly the truth came out, who had the nerve, the preparation, who can stay on the apparatus!” Bela Karolyi said afterward. “The best team and the best ones are ours! Yes! Yes!”
