So, to sum up:
1) The text looks funny and grainy. Solution: New transparent background. The only hitch is, apparently these things are much harder to come by than I would have surmised. Solution 2: new font.
2) Links by the left are hard to see against the sky. Solution: fix the colors. Solution 2: new background.
3) Opinions on things still puerile and worthless. Solution: denial. Solution 2: dotage.
No doubt all of these will be implemented gradually over a period of three to eight years.
