Because we all thought that the president would attempt to avoid calling attention to a feature of the greatest foreign policy blunder since Vietnam. Of course, in the world according to Tony Snow, who wouldn't want to draw as much attention as possible to another victory in our successful war on terror! Maybe now, in order to clear his conscience before his execution, Saddam will finally let on where he's been hiding those WMDs.
