A free verse open poem to the pedestrian I encountered today

Crazy old lady,
I am sorry if I
Misinterpreted your wave
As permission to keep driving
Rather than a demand
To let you cross the street
But you were ambiguous.
I would have apologized
For I am not vindictive (unduly)
But after you struck my car
With your clenched and knobbly fist
I hope you know your baleful glare
Provoked only confused laughter
I hope it ruined your day
You withered harridan.

A haiku in response to Josh's poem:

Oh strange blog poster
How you regale with your wit
A clown on a bike
